VirtualPC: German Keyboard Layout and the Backslash
To create the backslash symbol \ in a VirtualPC environment when having installed a German Keyboard Laoyut, you may press CTRL+ALT+ß instead of the normal AltGR+ß.
Unknown Monitor (locked to 800×600) – Nouveau Driver vs. NVidia Driver
With current Fedora Core releases many Nvidia graphic cards may report an “unknown monitor” after installation. The resolution then is locked to 800×600 at maximum. The root cause, however, is not the monitor itself, but an experimental graphic card’s driver.
